   -Foaming Make up removal-

   Formula -(100% ~ 150 g/mL)

   -Rose Water, (INCI: Rosa damascena distillate), 50 % / 75 g/mL
   -Witch Hazel Hydrosol, (INCI: Hamamelis Virginiana distillate), 30 % / 45 g/mL
   -Vegetable Glycerin, (INCI: Glycerin), 10 % / 15 g/mL
   -Coco-Glucoside surfactant, (INCI: Coco Glucoside), 4 % / 6 g/mL
   -The Nature Lab Aloe Vera Gel, 5 % / 7.5 g/mL
   -Geogard ECT Preservative, (INCI: Benzyl Alcohol & Salicylic Acid & Glycerin & Sorbic Acid), 1 % / 1.5 g/mL

   Formulation method-

   -In a glass beaker mix the glycerin and hydrosols.
   -In another beaker add Coco-Glucoside
   -Add the Surfactant to the Hydrosols and glycerin mix and stir gently, but with peace to prevent the surfactant from foaming.
   – Check the pH of the product to ensure it is within the compatible range of your preservative (In this case for Geogard ECT, pH3-8)
   -If the pH isn’t in a suitable range you can lower it by adding an acid, or raise it by adding sodium bicarbonate.
   -Add the preservative.
   -Transfer it into a foaming bottle and label. The foaming bottle pumps air into the product and produces foam with a lower concentration of surfactant.

   I am learning to make an aleovera gel using xanthun gum and guar gum. I have been advised by my tutor to use geogard Ect as preservative.
   When this preservative has to be added to the mixture either at the end or during the process itself.
   How much preservative to be added for 50 ml preperation.
